Women fusion clothing in Iran

Women's clothing in southern Iran is a fusion of cultural elements from the Arab world and India.

As coastal residents in southern Iran are constantly transported by sea and land, they have acquired coastal tastes. Throughout the centuries, they have incorporated elements of Arabic and Indian clothing into their local tastes.

Southern Iran is ethnically diverse and home to Persians, Lurs, Bakhtiaris, Qashqais, Baloch, Arabs, Armenians, Afro-Iranians and Jews.
